Collaborates in the development and implementation of comprehensive evaluation, performance measurement, evaluation and data plans for the Cancer Division funded programs and cooperative agreements by assisting with the engagement of associated team members in strategic planning, logic model development, evaluation and performance data plan development by conducting data collection, reporting and analysis of activities (i.e. surveys, focus groups, interviews, etc.). Evaluate and monitor the implementation, reach, impact, processes, outcomes, scalability and sustainability of program activities and partnerships. Ensures CCCP and NBCCEDP and other funded programs performance measures assessment, evaluation and work plan measures for evaluation are met.
Participates in ensuring Cancer Division Cooperative Agreement program monitoring, evaluation, performance, measurement, data management and continuous quality improvement work and findings are disseminated to funders, key stakeholders and stakeholder groups. Presents information orally and in writing. Conducts training as applicable.
Provide evaluation expertise, sharing of monitoring and evaluation efforts within the Cancer division, Cancer division partners, internal Bureau evaluation and evaluation and other pertinent advisory groups/committees including the State Cancer Plan, 1701 leadership committee and the South Carolina Cancer Alliance. Create evaluation materials to assist partners with reporting outcomes. Participates as an active member of the Division's Quality Improvement team and participates on initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and professional experience as a planner, researcher or statistician. A master's degree in statistics or a related discipline may be substituted for the required work experience.
Institutions of higher learning must be recognized by theCouncil for Higher Education Accreditation.

A master's or doctoral degree in statistics, epidemiology, social science, health promotion, health services administration, business administration, education, social work, evaluation or a related discipline and at leasttwo (2)years of program monitoring and evaluation work. Some experience with quality improvement desired.Additional Comments
