Maintains and repairs golf course greens, tees, fairways and other golfing areas; operates a variety of powered equipment; and performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Applicants must meet all the requirements for the position they are seeking as of the filing date of their application, unless otherwise specified.

Training and Experience: None.

License Requirement: Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as applicable to the position.

Knowledge of: the care of golf course greens and fairways; equipment and tools used in greens maintenance work; golf as it affects greens maintenance work.

Ability to: operate tools and equipment used in groundskeeping work; understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Health and Physical Condition Requirements: Persons seeking appointment to positions in this class must meet the health and physical condition standards deemed necessary and proper for performance of the duties.
